DEARBORN, Mich., June 26 – The 59th Annual Ford Fireworks took to the skies over downtown Detroit and Canada on Monday, drawing thousands of local residents to one of the United States’ largest fireworks displays. As part of this year’s theme of “Detroit! Right Now!,” Ford Motor Company Fund added to the festivities by inviting a select group of 2,000 local students and family members to a special viewing location with activities and entertainment. Ford Focus on Freedom saluted 200 current and former military members and their families with a special event that included a flyover by historic aircraft.
