Hurricane Beryl: Ford Credit Offers Customers Payment Relief

DEARBORN, Mich., July 18, 2024 – Ford Motor Credit has a message for customers recovering from Hurricane Beryl: We want to help.

“If you are affected by Hurricane Beryl, you may need some flexibility as you recover,” said Meredith Libbey, Ford Credit spokesperson. “Our disaster relief program may give you the breathing room you need.”

  • The company’s disaster relief program allows qualified customers to delay one or two monthly payments, resuming their regular payment schedules when their situations improve.
  • Customers must live in Texas counties eligible for FEMA’s Individuals and Households Program.
  • The fastest way for customers buying their vehicles to request an extension is by visiting www.ford.com/finance or through the Ford Credit app. They may also call – and lease customers must call – to request disaster relief by calling 1-800-723-4016.

Disaster extensions are available to qualified customers who are buying or leasing vehicles with financing from Ford Credit or Lincoln Automotive Financial Services. Interest may continue to accrue on the deferred payment(s).
