Joel Piaskowski is Global Design Director, Ford Trucks, Vans and Commercial Vehicles responsible for design development and strategy.

Joel is a graduate from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit where he attained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Transportation Design. Joel has been in design leadership for over 30 years, at companies including General Motors, Hyundai/Kia, and Mercedez-Benz. He has worked in Southern California, South Korea, Japan, Australia and Germany.

Joel joined Ford as Design Director in 2010. Since then, he has led design teams on F-150, Edge, Explorer and Mustang including the 6th & 7th generations, Mach-E and GTD. While leading the European design teams in Germany and U.K. he oversaw the design development of Fiesta, Focus and Puma amongst others. He has also led Color and Materials, Components, Seating, Digital UX and Exterior Lighting design studios.
