The story of the Lincoln Aviator Shinola concept started with a watch, a duffle bag and a bike seat, and it took off from there. Two iconic brands with a shared passion for design, Lincoln and Shinola have teamed up to create an Aviator SUV concept.

Going beyond the tangible, beyond the logistics of the shape of sheet metal, the feel of fabrics and even the elegance of technology, transportation design students from ArtCenter College of Design in Southern California were given an assignment that was, in its simplest terms: tell me a meaningful story.

Lincoln will debut its first global fully electric vehicle next year, the first step toward electrifying its entire portfolio of vehicles by the end of the decade.
