DEARBORN, Mich., Feb. 25, 2015 – The Lincoln MKZ Hybrid, whose sales account for nearly one-third of MKZ sales nationally – more than any other luxury nameplate – now elevates the luxury experience through Lincoln Black Label.
Lincoln Black Label includes a choice of four designer themes and an array of exclusive membership privileges. This offering is available now on the Lincoln MKZ midsize sedan and Lincoln MKC small premium utility and comes later this year to the all-new Lincoln MKX midsize crossover.
The first Lincoln Black Label sales came in California, which also is a strong market for the Lincoln MKZ Hybrid. The hybrid model accounts for more than 60 percent of all Lincoln MKZ sales in the Golden State – more than double the national rate.*
“The 2015 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid is the only hybrid that combines a full luxury experience, best-in-class city fuel economy of 41 mpg and at the same starting price as the gas model,” said John Emmert, Group Marketing Manager, Lincoln. “Customers, many new to Lincoln, have embraced this choice. Through Lincoln Black Label, the highest expression of Lincoln luxury is available to Lincoln MKZ Hybrid clients.”
Lincoln Black Label design themes draw inspiration from a variety of sources – from fashion and food, to luxury travel and architecture. Each was created to make driving a Lincoln a more personal, emotive experience.
All four themes showcase some of the finest materials, including Alcantara®-wrapped headliner, pillars, package tray and accent details; Venetian leather on the seating surfaces, armrests and doors; fully leather-wrapped and stitched instrument panel, console and doors; subtle branding elements with unique Lincoln perforation designs; and elegant trims of crafted woods or woods rare to the automotive industry.
Offered on the Lincoln MKZ Hybrid are Indulgence, Center Stage, Modern Heritage and Oasis. Click here for an in-depth fact sheet on each theme.
