Lincoln Lends Support to 2015 Fash Bash, key Fundraiser for Detroit Institute of Arts

DEARBORN, Mich., Aug. 14, 2015 – The next all-new vehicle from Lincoln, with a new Lincoln Black Label theme, shined at one of the summer’s most anticipated events.

The Lincoln Motor Company is the exclusive automotive sponsor of Fash Bash®. The signature fundraiser for Detroit Institute of Arts has consistently drawn the who’s who of fashion and art enthusiasts from metro Detroit since its inception 45 years ago.

The Lincoln Black Label Afterglow capped the much-anticipated event at the Detroit Institute of Arts.

Founders Junior Council, a young professionals auxiliary of the DIA, started Fash Bash in 1970. It quickly became one of Detroit’s most popular, anticipated and successful fundraisers, raising more than $44 million to date.

Featured this year was the all-new 2016 Lincoln MKX in the new Lincoln Black Label theme The Muse.

To tap into the sensual undertone of this period, a two-tone interior environment of Rouge Noir and Quartz was created, with these deep jewel-colored tones balanced by Artisan aluminum trim.

The Rouge Noir Alcantara® headliner is complemented by Quartz Venetian leather seats with Linking-L perforation inserts.

The 2016 Lincoln MKX luxury midsize utility, which went on sale in June, introduces Quiet Luxury, which combines thoughtful and elegant design with a safer, more effortless ride and a warm, tailored experience. It is the first vehicle in the world to offer an available audio system from Revel®, whose loudspeakers are cherished by audiophiles.
