Adam Gryglak, Chief Engineer, Aviator, The Lincoln Motor Company, is responsible for all aspects of Lincoln’s luxury midsize SUV as well as the continued launch of Lincoln’s first plug-in hybrid, the Aviator Grand Touring.
Since 2011, Gryglak has worked as a Chief Engineer in Ford of Europe and as Vehicle Line Director in Asia Pacific.
Gryglak has extensive experience throughout the company. He joined Ford in 1990, working in the engine group on gasoline fuel-injection systems and engine development. In 2001, he moved to Ford’s Research & Advanced Engine Design & Development teams, which led to projects for midsize and heavy-duty diesels for the next-generation truck segments.
He served as the Diesel Chief Engineer for the 6.7-liter Power Stroke V-8 turbocharged diesel engine that debuted in the 2011 Ford Super Duty.
Gryglak grew up in Chicago, attending Lane Technical High School, where he co-oped as a draftsman. He continued that trade while earning a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois.
